Public Consultation Phase 2: Public Meeting
Left Turn Right Turn will be hosting a Public Meeting to share transit servicing and routing options.
Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2024
Time: 3:00 to 8:00 pm
Location: Community Corner, BWG Leisure Centre, 471 West Park Avenue
Comments on the proposed routing and service delivery will help to shape the final recommendations for transit growth through 2031.
Public Consultation Phase 3: Survey #2
From the last survey conducted in January and February of 2024, feedback from respondents included wanting to see increased investment in transit through longer hours, more frequent trips, and better connectivity around BWG, including the GO station. The new survey will seek to gain feedback from residents on potential ideas the consultant Left Turn Right Turn and BWG Transit gained from the first initial survey.
The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey will close end of day Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Current Status of the 2031 Transit Plan
The 2031 Transit Plan was reviewed by the Strategic Initiatives Committee and Council. Staff will bring forward the recommendations from the plan to the annual budget deliberations taking place November 12 and 13 for discussion.
