To apply for a position visit the current job postings page and click on the job number of the position you are interested in.  Scroll to the bottom of the job posting and click "I am interested".  If you have not already done so, you will be prompted to create a profile.

Applications and resumes can only be accepted for vacant positions that have been advertised to the public as per the Ontario Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, RSO 1990 Chapter M.56 as may be amended, provisions of Part II Section 28(1).

Resumes received for job advertisements will be considered during the recruitment process; however, due to volume, only those applicants selected for interview will be contacted. 

Yes. The Town encourages you to apply to any job posting that meets your skills, education and professional experience. You will need to submit a separate application through the Applicant Tracking System for each position.

If you're selected, you'll be contacted for an interview and/or testing.  Prior to the interview you will be asked to complete a Candidate Questionnaire. The interviews will be conducted by a panel of a least two people. The Town uses a structured interview guide that includes job related and behavioural interview questions. Panel members will be taking notes during the interview of your responses. Some positions will require testing and you will be notified during the interview invitation if this is going to take place.

If you are chosen as the successful candidate, a job offer will be conditional upon a reference check, drivers licence check (if applicable), education/certification verification and police reference check.

A Police Check is not a barrier to employment - if a qualified candidate has a criminal record, the Town will consider the nature, date, and extent of the criminal record to assess whether the candidate is suitable for the position.
