Roads and Transit

The Transportation Division has the challenging task of managing and maintaining the Town's infrastructure, which includes roads, sewers, the urban/rural stormwater system, and all Town-owned land and facilities.

Transportation employees and their fleet of vehicles clear snow from the roads in the winter making them safe for traffic. They regularly maintain and upgrade Town roads and traffic signals, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow within the Town of BWG.

There are two Transportation yards within BWG, one urban and one rural.

The Transportation Division is also responsible for:

• Crossing guards
• Driveway paving and widening permits
• Reduced load limits
• Road occupancy permits
• Transit
