24 Hour Parking

BWG's 24 hour (maximum) parking limit is intended to address long-term storage of vehicles on roadways, including:

• Storing vehicles that are never used
• Vehicles that remain stationary for days/weeks
• Leaving vehicles on the roadway when you go away/are on vacation

Please note that parking is otherwise permitted, in accordinace with the Traffic Regulation By-law 2014-71 .

Enforcement Response

During the initial roll-out of the by-law (2022), we are focusing our efforts on early awareness and education within our community, and enforcement will be handled in response to complaints only.

Residents can contact the Enforcement Division at 905 775 5366 ext.1701 or parking@townofbwg.com with any concerns or inquiries. Bylaw Officers will respond to any complaints brought forward and engage owners to educate on the new regulation and enforce it as necessary.
