Event Strategy

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is excited to announce that its first Event Strategy was endorsed by Council in September 2025, setting a clear direction for events over the next decade.

Events offer significant benefits to our community, providing entertainment, fostering engagement, enhancing pride, supporting the local economy, and contributing to the high quality of life that residents enjoy.

To ensure ongoing community benefits from events, the Town initiated the development of this Event Strategy, which serves as a roadmap for future planning and decision-making related to community events.

Community engagement was conducted from January 8 to February 5, 2024, through an Online Community Survey and Stakeholder Workshops. The draft of the Event Strategy was presented to Council in June 2024.
