Touch a Truck

Celebrate National Public Works Week at BWG's 5th Annual Touch A Truck Event.

Date: Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Time: 4:30-7:30 pm

Location: Urban Operations Centre (75 Melbourne Drive)

Parking: Parking will not be available on site. Event parking is available at Bradford District High School (70 Professor Day Dr) starting at 5:30pm and Holy Trinity Catholic High School (100 Melbourne Dr) starting at 4:00pm, both a short walk to the event site. Limited accessible parking is available for those with a valid accessible parking permit. If you require accessible parking please contact events@townofbwg.com.

Event Details

Celebrating National Public Works Week. Get up close and explore some of your favourite vehicles! Activities will be available free of charge to event participants.

• Explore the town's fleet of vehicles such as:
  • Excavator
  • Skid Steer
  • Snow Plow
  • Tractor Boom
  • Backhoe
• South Simcoe Police
• BWG Fire & Emergency Services
• County of Simcoe Paramedics
• BWG Aquatics with Water Safety Activities
• Paint a Plow with BWG Camps
• Photo Corner
• Free ice cream & slushies for kids from Mister Treats (while supplies last) *1 per child*
