Property owners, tenants, or solicitors can request zoning compliance letters from the Office of Community Planning.
Standard information included in a zoning compliance letter:

Current zoning

Current official plan designation
-
Details of any Zoning Exceptions

Current planning applications associated with the property (such as variances, severances, zoning by-law amendments)

If the land is regulated by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority or Nottawasaga Conservation Authority

If the property complies with current official plan and applicable zoning by laws
