We understand that many of our residents are feeling frustrated by the traffic delays caused by the ongoing Holland River Bridge rehabilitation project. We know the impact on your daily commute is real, especially during the morning and afternoon rush hours, but this work is necessary to ensure the long-term safety and functionality of the bridge.

Please be advised that there will be an eastbound lane closure on 6th Line, just west of Simcoe Road, on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Should rain delay the work, it will be completed on Friday, September 26.
BWG Gets “On the Move” to Support Active and Safe Travel to SchoolThis fall, families across BWG are being encouraged to lace up their shoes and roll out their wheels as part of On the Move, a local initiative that promotes walking and wheeling to school for healthier, more active children and safer communities.
The BWG On the Move working group has been making great efforts to develop tools and resources to help make active transportation to school a success.
