Ring in in the New Year with Family Fun!Celebrate New Year’s Eve with your family and friends at the BWG Leisure Centre with the 13th annual Family First Night event on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at the BWG Leisure Centre and Public Square.
This free family-friendly event features indoor activities from 4:00-6:30pm including leisure skating (skate aids not permitted), leisure swimming (admission policy ratios apply), inflatable obstacle courses in the gymnasium, a toddler area, busker shows, a photobooth, glitter.

The ceremony celebrates the start of construction on a series of upgrades that will modernize the plant, enhance environmental protection, and expand wastewater treatment capacity to support the community’s growth through 2031 and beyond.

Annual Toys for Tickets Campaign is back in BWGIt’s that time of year again! Each year, from December 1 to April 1, winter parking restrictions are in effect – prohibiting on-street parking (between 2:00 - 6:00 am) on BWG roadways.

If you get a parking ticket from the Town of BWG between December 1-14 for overnight on-street parking, you can “pay” your ticket through the Town’s Toys for Tickets campaign.
