Have Loads of Fun at BWG's Annual Touch a Truck Event
In celebration of National Public Works Week, the community of BWG is invited to explore and learn about the various trucks, plows, and emergency vehicles that the Town operates during our annual Touch a Truck event!
Presented by Presented by List with Louise, Deals with Debbie and Mister Treats, Touch a Truck will take place on Wednesday, May 21, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, at BWG’s Urban Operation Centre (75 Melbourne Drive). The event is a free to attend, family-friendly event that invites.

Construction Notice: April 17, 2025As part of the Town’s 2025 Road Rehabilitation Program the Town will be carrying out work on the following roads:
- Brittania Avenue – from Colbourne to Lee Avenue (north leg)
- Jay Street – from Dissette Street to Brittania Avenue
- Colbourne Street – from Holland Street E to John Street E
- Canal Road – from Tornado Drive to 885m north
- Canal Road – from Line 5 to Simcoe Road
- Sideroad 10 – from Holland Street W to Reagen’s Industrial Parkway
- Line 13 – from County Road 27 to the west Town limit

Individuals identifying as fire safety experts are visiting homes and advising residents that they need to spend large sums of money to bring their homes into "compliance" with fire safety regulations.
