    A winter weather travel advisory is in effect with short duration and heavy snowfall expected. Today’s forecasts are anticipating 5 to 10 cm of snow to fall this afternoon with falling temperatures through into the evening with increasing wind speeds with guests up to 67km/h which could result in this afternoons snow creating white out conditions.

A lane closure will be in effect for the East Bound lane going along County Road 88 west of 5th Sideroad the lane will be temporarily closed due to construction work.

    Notification Period Begins for Four Automated Speed Enforcement Locations in BWG

    Town staff, Council, and members of South Simcoe Police Service gathered earlier this afternoon to kick-off BWG’s new Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Pilot Project, announcing the first four locations where the speed cameras will operate.

    Endorsed by Council in October 2023, the pilot project will include a total of three rotations, with each rotation including four new ASE locations at Community Safety Zones throughout BWG.
