    2025 Property Tax Bills Sent Early Due to Possible Mail Disruption

    Due to the possibility of a Canada Post service disruption in May 2025, the Town of BWG has made the decision to issue the 2025 Final Property Tax bills earlier than normal, however the due dates are unchanged. This year your Final Property Tax bills will be issued in early May, providing you with even more time to arrange for your payments on or before Thursday, June 26 and Friday, September 26, 2025.

  • Town Ratifies Three-Year Agreements with International Union of Operating Engineers

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 have ratified new three-year collective agreements. 

    The agreements provide negotiated enhancements to wages and benefits that support the attraction and retention of the skilled workforce within the Public Works and Facilities/Parks bargaining units.

    In celebration of National Public Works Week, the community of BWG is invited to explore and learn about the various trucks, plows, and emergency vehicles that the Town operates during our annual Touch a Truck event!

    Presented by Presented by List with Louise, Deals with Debbie and Mister Treats, Touch a Truck will take place on Wednesday, May 21, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, at BWG’s Urban Operation Centre (75 Melbourne Drive). The event is a free to attend, family-friendly event that invites.

    As part of the Town’s 2025 Road Rehabilitation Program the Town will be carrying out work on the following roads:
    • Brittania Avenue – from Colbourne to Lee Avenue (north leg)
    • Jay Street – from Dissette Street to Brittania Avenue
    • Colbourne Street – from Holland Street E to John Street E
    • Canal Road – from Tornado Drive to 885m north
    • Canal Road – from Line 5 to Simcoe Road
    • Sideroad 10 – from Holland Street W to Reagen’s Industrial Parkway
    • Line 13 – from County Road 27 to the west Town limit
