  • BWG Proclaims Fierté Simcoe Pride 2024

    Fierté Simcoe Pride

    July 29 to August 11, 2024

    WHEREAS: This marks the thirteenth annual Fierté Simcoe Pride, and its purpose is to create a safe and inclusive Simcoe County that supports gender and sexual diversity through services, activities and events; and

    WHEREAS: The Intersex Progress Pride flag is raised to honour gender and sexual diversity in Simcoe County. The Intersex Progress Pride flag was designed by Valentino Vecchietti in the UK in 2021.

  • Celebrate Lifeguard Appreciation Day at the Bradford Leisure Center

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury invites residents and visitors to join in honouring and appreciating our local lifeguards as part of Lifeguard Appreciation Day on July 31, 2024.

    A resurfacing of the Bill Marks Trail is set to begin Monday, August 1.

    A portion of the existing asphalt trail adjacent to Compton Crescent and Northgate Drive will be removed and replaced with new asphalt surfacing.
