    Notice of Road Work: Beginning June 12, 2025

    The installation of microsurfacing will be taking place as part of the Town’s 2025 Road
    Rehabilitation Program on the following roads:

    • Line 5 – Highway 27 to the west Town limit
    • Line 7 – Lallien Drive to the west Town limit
    • Line 9 – Sideroad 5 to Sideroad 10
    • Bridge Street – Dissette Street to Canal Road **NIGHT WORK**

    Micro-surfacing is a blend of aggregates and asphalt emulsions which repairs rutting and provides a new road surface.

    Work is expected to begin THURSDAY, JUNE 12th, weather permitting.

  • Temporary Road Closure

    Frederick Street will be temporarily closed from Barrie Street to Moore Street, along with a closure on Moore Street from Frederick Street to Hurd Street.

    Work is scheduled for June 10, 2025.

  • Ramp Closure at Canal Road

    Starting Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Highway 400 ramps at Canal Road will be permanently closed.

    Motorists can use the Highway 9 or Line 5 interchanges for local access to Canal Road, Wist Road, or Davis Road.
