    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is excited to unveil Lift Off, a four-part workshop series designed to empower local entrepreneurs and small business owners. Created in collaboration with Georgian College’s Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre (HBEC), this engaging program provides hands-on learning experiences that help participants refine their ideas, build vital connections, and drive their businesses forward.

  • Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Responds to Potential Canada/US Tariffs

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) is taking proactive steps to help local businesses prepare for potential tariffs that could impact Canadian businesses starting this Saturday. In response to the looming changes, BWG’s Economic Development team, led by the Mayor and Council, is working closely with local, provincial, and federal partners to navigate the potential challenges and advocate for the community.

  • Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services Receives Fire Protection Grant

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is pleased to announce that its Fire and Emergency Services team has been awarded a grant totaling $8,230 from the Province of Ontario’s 2024 Fire Protection Grant. The funding, which was officially allocated on December 19, 2024, will be used to enhance the department’s personal protective clothing and purchase essential equipment aimed at improving fire safety on the fireground.

    Bradford West Gwillimbury Celebrates Hockey Day 2025

    A celebration of community hockey returns to Bradford West Gwillimbury on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The sixteenth annual Hockey Day in BWG will take place in Bond Head at Bud Brown Park from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

  • Celebrate the New Year with the Mayor and Council


    Mayor Leduc and Members of Council invite you to join them for the eighth annual Mayor’s New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:15 pm at the BWG Leisure Centre.

    The Mayor’s Levee features free leisure skating from 12:15 to 2:15 pm, free family sports in the gymnasium from 12:15 to 2:00 pm as well as musical entertainment from Russ Clayton.

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is currently seeking a Municipal Appointee to serve on the Bradford West Gwillimbury/Innisfil Police Services Board for the duration of Council’s term until November 14, 2026.

    Members of the Board carry out responsibilities as outlined in Section 31 (1) of Ontario’s Police Services Act.
