    BWG Introduces New Water Consumption Portal

    NEW Water Consumption Portal

    Stay informed about your water consumption and help reduce the risk of extended leaks!

    The Town of BWG has launched a new Water Consumption Portal for property owners to monitor their water consumption prior to receiving their water/wastewater utility bill. The online portal also allows owners to set up email notifications when higher than normal water usage is detected at their property.

    Notification Period Begins for Four Automated Speed Enforcement Locations in BWG

    Town staff, Council, and members of South Simcoe Police Service gathered earlier this afternoon to kick-off BWG’s new Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Pilot Project, announcing the first four locations where the speed cameras will operate.

    Endorsed by Council in October 2023, the pilot project will include a total of three rotations, with each rotation including four new ASE locations at Community Safety Zones throughout BWG.

    Interested candidates can officially apply for job opportunities with BWG using the Town’s new Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

    BWG’s Human Resources division is thrilled to formally launch a streamlined recruitment process using its new ATS, a secure online portal for anyone wishing to apply for a job with the Town of BWG, track the recruitment process for jobs applied to, and subscribe to receive career alerts directly to your inbox for a tailored experience.

    In partnership with transit consultant, “Left Turn Right Turn,” the Town of BWG’s Transportation Division is developing a 2031 Transit Plan that will pave the way for the future of BWG Transit.

  • BWG Calls on Legislature’s Standing Committee to Reform Simcoe County Governance

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s working group on regional governance reform, once again presented to the Ontario Legislature’s Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy, earlier today.

    During its presentation to the committee, Bradford West Gwillimbury’s (BWG’s) representatives stressed the need for:

    • ensuring a fair democratic representation for all member municipalities;
    • implementing structures and practices that deliver efficient decision-making and good.

    Bradford West Gwillimbury Celebrates Hockey Day

    A celebration of community hockey returns to Bradford West Gwillimbury on Saturday, February 3, at our 15th Annual Hockey Day in BWG.

    Join us at Bud Brown Park in Bond Head, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, as the BWG Minor Hockey Association’s  U7 teams compete  in a day of outdoor ice fun.
