Construction Notice: BWG Library LawnConstruction for a new outdoor event space is set to begin next week on the BWG Library lawn and will continue through the remainder of the year with completion scheduled for May 2025. Please note that during construction residents will still have road and sidewalk access to the area.

Southwest Arterial Road Construction UpdateTo facilitate the paving of the final lift of asphalt on the Southwest Arterial Road, the roadway sections listed below will be closed from 7 am until 6 pm starting June 24 through June 28. Other parts of the project will undergo lane restrictions to facilitate the paving operations.

Phase 1: Line 8 Rehabilitation NoticePhase 1 of the Line 8 Rehabilitation is set to begin on Tuesday, May 21.
To facilitate the work, Line 8 will undergo temporary lane closures controlled by flag persons or temporary traffic signals.

Inflow and Infiltration Study Fog Testing Sanitary Sewer Works NoticeThe Town of Bradford has retained GM BluePlan Engineering and AMG Environmental to complete fog testing on the sanitary sewers servicing your area. The fog testing works began on May 13 and is scheduled for completion by end of June 2024 (weather dependent).

Spring 2024 Hydrant FlushingStarting March 11 for BWG South
Every Spring and Fall, the Town’s Water Division completes watermain flushing, which consists of running water at every hydrant to ensure a clean and fresh water supply for our municipal water customers.
Starting Monday, March 11, and over the following several weeks, water will be run at every hydrant in BWG.

Notice of County Road 88 and 5th Sideroad Lane ClosureThe Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Transportation and Water Departments will be doing water main daylighting on Thursday, February 15, 2024. A lane closure will be in effect for the East Bound lane going along County Road 88 west of 5th Sideroad the lane will be temporarily closed due to construction work.Feb 14, 2024
2023 Urban Roads Design Project UpdateProject Areas 2 & 3
Accardi Schaeffers has been retained to complete the detailed design work for the 2023 Urban Roads project. In order to support the detailed design, we will be conducting investigative works on site and you may see surveyors, geotechnical engineers, underground utility investigators, and arborists.

Beginning the first week of January 2024 (weather pending), survey crews will be working along the following areas to collect additional data.
