Temporary Road Closure
Frederick Street will be temporarily closed from Barrie Street to Moore Street, along with a closure on Moore Street from Frederick Street to Hurd Street.
Work is scheduled for June 10, 2025.
Ramp Closure at Canal RoadStarting Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Highway 400 ramps at Canal Road will be permanently closed.
Motorists can use the Highway 9 or Line 5 interchanges for local access to Canal Road, Wist Road, or Davis Road.

County Road 4 and Line 10, Bradford West Gwillimbury, County of Simcoe
This notice is to advise you that County Road 4 will be closed to through traffic, between Line 9 and Line 11, and Line 10 will be closed to through traffic, between Sideroad 10 and County Road 4, from October 21, 2024 until December 13, 2024 to permit replacement of the Scanlon Creek culvert under County Road 4 at Line 10.
During this period, these roads will be open strictly for access to residential.
Notice of Road Closure: Inverness WayPlease be advised of the upcoming road closure of Inverness Way from Line 6 south to Algeo Way. The closure will take place from August 19 to August 30, 2024.
Traffic Alert: Ride for Sick Kids to pass through BWGOn Sunday, August 11th, 2024, the Ride for Sick Kids will kick off at 11:00am beginning in Vaughan. This charity motorcycle ride aims to raise funds for Sick Kids Hospital and will feature between 500-600 riders.
Notice of Lane Closure: County Road 4There will be a lane closure on County Road 4 (Yonge Street) between Line 8 and Line 9 starting Wednesday, July 3 at 7 am, until Thursday, July 4 at 5 am, to facilitate roadwork in the area.
A flagging operation will be in place to help direct both southbound and northbound traffic.
Southwest Arterial Road Construction UpdateTo facilitate the paving of the final lift of asphalt on the Southwest Arterial Road, the roadway sections listed below will be closed from 7 am until 6 pm starting June 24 through June 28. Other parts of the project will undergo lane restrictions to facilitate the paving operations.
