Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting for a Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment (Temporary Use)

Bradford West Gwillimbury will hold a Public Meeting to receive input on the below listed Planning Act application on:

Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 7:00 pm
at
BWG Library and Cultural Centre (Zima Room)
425 Holland Street West, Bradford

and streamed live on the Town’s YouTube channel at:

www.youtube.com/c/TownofBradfordWestGwillimbury.

Please note that there may be more than one public meeting and that the matter will be dealt with in order that it appears on the agenda.)

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the nature of the proposal, invite public input, and answer questions regarding the application. Please note that no decision will be made on the application during this meeting.

Description of Application The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to extend the permitted temporary sales pavilion for homes to be sold and constructed in Bond Head for an additional three (3) years. The existing three (3) year permission is set to expire on June 16th, 2026 (By-law 2023-40)

Zoning By-laws (O.Reg 545/06) If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
