Illuminate BWG on April 1 in Celebration of the RCAF's Centennial Anniversary

Join BWG in celebrating the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 100th anniversary on April 1, 2024. Communities across Canada and the world are participating in this momentous occasion by illuminating landmarks in blue in recognition of #100YearsOfFlyingBlue.

BWG will be lighting up:

• Court House, Clock Tower, and Finance Building at (57 Holland St. E)
• BWG Public Library (425 Holland St. W)
• BWG Fire Station 1 (77 Melbourne St.)
• Royal Canadian Legion (115 Back St)

The RCAF is making history on April 1st as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most landmarks illuminated in 24 hours!

How to Participate

Throughout the month of April, the RCAF are encouraging Canadians across the country light up their cities, businesses, and homes in blue, and to share photos on social media using the hashtags #RCAF100 and #100YearsOfFlyingBlue.
