BWG Proclaims PROBUS Clubs Month 2025

WHEREAS: PROBUS Clubs Month is an opportunity to celebrate the existence of over 250 PROBUS Clubs across Canada, and the participation of more than 38,000 members in these volunteer-based, non-profit groups; and

WHEREAS: The goal of PROBUS Clubs is to provide Fellowship, Friendship and Fun for men and women in their retirement and semi-retirement years, to encourage healthy minds and bodies through socialization with other retirees in the community; and

WHEREAS: The PROBUS Club of Bradford, the PROBUS Club of BWG and the PROBUS Club of Pinkerton join together to raise the PROBUS flag and share their pride in their community and their organizations; and

WHEREAS: PROBUS Clubs Month is an opportunity to spread awareness and encourage membership in clubs across Canada and the world.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That His Worship Mayor James Leduc and Members of Council proclaim October 2025 as PROBUS CLUBS MONTH in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
