BWG Celebrates Police Week 2024

Police week is officially here, and BWG is proud to honour the brave members of South Simcoe Police Service for all they do to keep BWG and its residents safe.

Recognized nationally, the event has been celebrated each year in May since it first began in 1970. Police Week continues to raise awareness around the invaluable commitment that Police officers, and their partners make to our community each day.

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is among the safest municipalities in Canada, and the dedication of our police officers has played an integral role in achieving this commendable status.

Our local police force has, and will continue to be a cornerstone to the safety of our residents, and the strength of our community. The members of the South Simcoe Police Service, the volunteers and those who support their efforts we thank you for your service.

Join us on Wednesday, May 15 at 1:00 pm for a Flag Raising in celebration of Police week, outside at the Courthouse Courtyard - 57 Holland Street East.
