BWG Animal Services Partners with Alliston District Humane Society

BWG Animal Services is now partnering with the Alliston District Humane Society to provide Municipal Shelter Services for the Town.

ADHS is volunteer based, with 2 veterinary technicians on site, ample staff to look after the animals, and a beautiful property with 49 acres of walking trails.

Important facts to consider for pet owners and those looking to adopt:

• If your dog is picked up by an officer, all efforts will be made to locate the owner through information on the dog tag.
• If the owner cannot be located or contacted, or if the dog does not have a tag, the dog will be transported the Alliston District Humane Society.
• If an animal is unclaimed for a period of five (5) days, the pet may be available for adoption.
• All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
