Bradford West Gwillimbury celebrates Hockey Day 2026
A celebration of community hockey returns to Bradford West Gwillimbury on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 8:00am-12:00pm. The seventeenth annual Hockey Day in BWG will take place in Bond Head at Bud Brown Park.
Age division U7 teams from the BWG Minor Hockey Association compete against each other in a day of outdoor on-ice fun at Bud Brown Park in Bond Head. Participants will receive a medal.

Hockey Day in Canada was born in Toronto in 2000, and is hosted in a different Canadian town each year. The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury launched the local event in 2009 as a way to celebrate a favourite winter sport and bring the game back to basics with a fun, friendly tournament.
