Be Prepared Amid the Canada Post Strike

Amid the ongoing Canada Post strike, BWG is actively working to minimize disruptions to residents and businesses who may be impacted.

The Town issued the water and wastewater bills for water usage during the period of September 1 to October 31, 2024, and delivered these bills to Canada Post over the period of Wednesday, November 6 to Friday, November 8, 2024. The due date for these bills is Friday December 13, 2024. During the Canada Post Labour disruption property owners and tenants are still responsible for making property tax and water & wastewater payments. BWG offers many different alternatives to making bill payments beyond mailing a cheque such as:

  • Enroll in our pre-authorized debit plan.
  • Pay through your bank by internet, telephone or teller.
  • Drop off a current or postdated cheque at 61 Holland Street East or 100 Dissette Street Units 7 and 8.
  • Pay in person with cash, cheque or debit at 61 Holland Street East or 100 Dissette Street Unit 7 and 8 during regular business hours.
  • Pay online by credit card via Virtual Town Hall (service fee applies)
