    New Youth Recreation Centre Officially Opens in BWG
    On Wednesday, May 1, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) officially opened its doors to the New Youth Recreation Centre at 226 Colborne Street. The event marked a significant milestone for BWG’s youth programming with the new Centre offering a safe space for young people of the community to gather while accessing a variety of resources.

    Join Councillor Verkaik for the Ward 3 CAN Meeting

    Join your local Council at an upcoming Community Access Networking (CAN) meeting, an event series that provides residents the opportunity to come together in a friendly and informal environment, learn about what is happening in their ward, learn more about Town of BWG services, ask questions, share ideas, and more!

    The February CAN meeting will feature Ward 3 and will be hosted by Mayor Leduc, Deputy Mayor Sandhu, and Ward 3 Councillor Ben Verkaik.

    Join us for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2023

    In the spirit of reconciliation and partnership with BWG Public Library, Rise Up BWG and The Bradford Farmers' Market, we invite the community to memorialize the children lost to the residential school system and honour survivors, their families, and their communities.

    Join us for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at the BWG Leisure Centre, 471 West Park Ave.

    Celebrate All That Fall Has to Offer at Pumpkin Fest

    Join the Town of BWG for their seventh annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 14 at Henderson Memorial Park.

    The leaves are falling, the air is getting cooler and Pumpkin Fest will ‘leaf’ you loving Fall even more!

    Pumpkin Fest is a free family-friendly event featuring live music, busker performances, wagon rides, pumpkin carving (one per child, while supplies last), the Bradford Farmers’ Market, an inflatable corn maze, mini-golf, face painting, and more! We are also pleased to welcome BWG.

    Outdoor Movies Returns for Summer 2023

    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Outdoor Movies event series is back and better than ever!

    All outdoor movies will be hosted at 425 Holland St West on the west lawn outside the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library and Cultural Centre. Movies start at dusk which is approximately 8:30pm, however movie goers can start to arrive at 7:30pm for fun games, food vendors & pre-show entertainment.
